So, when we see there is a new incubator coming to Chicago that's providing such a massive infusion of resources and development, we get excited about the world of possibilities.
Portal Innovations and the University of Chicago's Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship have come together to create and run a new incubator to help scientists who are on the cutting edge of life sciences, quantum mechanics, AI technology, and climate and energy-based technologies. Dubbed the UChicago Science Incubator, it aims to help fund and provide resources and manpower needed to grow startups in these areas of technology, which require substantial support for new concepts to have a chance at commercialization and broader impact.

This new endeavor also is a wonderful example of collaboration between the two partners, with Portal handling the lab operations and the University of Chicago focusing on providing business growth opportunities.
