Innovation is becoming a more familiar topic with people across such a wide range of areas and business. It’s applicable to anything you’re doing, it’s at the core of creation. Every time we bring something new to the world, whether it’s a revolutionary product or a new perspective on an old subject, innovation is at the heart of it.

At Catalyst Ranch we recognize the importance of innovation and what it takes to get there and create with it. Not only do we implement it in our space, but we want to foster an environment that gets you there as well. So any tool or resource we discover, were excited to share it with you. This upcoming Chicago event is worth having on your calendar.

Chicago Innovation, the organization which launched the Chicago Innovation Awards, will host an engaging panel discussion on February 19 entitled, “The Innovation Forecast: The Next 25 Years.” A panel of leaders will mine their knowledge and firsthand experience to explore the following questions:

  • What will be the most transformative drivers of innovation over the next 25 years?
  • What global challenges do we think innovation must prioritize solving first?
  • What sectors will see the greatest disruption?

Speakers include a Noble Prize winner in Economic Sciences, a former CEO of Chicago Public Schools, and CEOs of P33, Chicago World Business and The Chicago Community Trust. The event will be moderated by Luke Tanen, President and CEO of Chicago Innovation.

This collection of leaders surely has a grasp of how innovation affects their industries at a local level. We’re excited to hear what they expect on the road ahead for innovation in Chicago.
