On Administrative Professionals Day, 2025, we're reminiscing on the collection of evenings we were able to welcome OfficeNinjas to Catalyst Ranch and see first hand how a professional association perfectly executes networking and community-building.

The OfficeNinjas was a thriving community of administrative professionals created and led by Nancy and Edwin Salgado. In just a few years, they established a multi-faceted platform for connecting professionals in the admin realm, providing very popular networking events across the nation. Each year, members enjoyed celebratory awards recognizing a set of superstar individuals; an exciting in-person convention at a new city every time, and even access to an enriching program of professional development courses.

Here at the Ranch, we experienced something very few professional settings see: what happens when administrative pros gather.

It's perhaps a rule that Admin folks — office managers, operations folks and executive assistants, to name a few — do their jobs with little fanfare. It's clear how the organization chose its name, because a whole host of machinations are accomplished by admin folks without other company figures noticing.

But when these taskmasters can revel off hours and enjoy each others' company, you know they make each minute worthwhile.

At Catalyst Ranch, we pride ourselves on offering impeccable customer service, ably addressing any clients' momentary needs. But when an admin professional is a client, there aren't any undotted i's. And we could tell that every person in attendance loved that finely-tuned machine, and they could absolutely feel free to enjoy themselves and connect with each other.

It's Administrative Professionals Day, so we raise a glass to all of these folks who Make Things Happen!

Thank you so much, admins, for making your companies run smoothly, all from behind the scenes. You are integral to your organization's success, and we admire all that you do.
