We know that good ice breakers will help get meetings, training and team building off on the right foot, but remember to be flexible when using them. They don’t necessarily need to be at the start of a meeting, sometimes adding it later in the agenda may prove to give a boost to lagging energy levels and may just be what you need to spur creativity.
How long can you keep a feather up in the air, just by blowing it? Here’s your chance to find out. Break the ice at your next meeting and challenge the attendees to a race. Let them jump at the chance to be silly and spur normal conversation amongst themselves.
Divide into groups of 5-7 people. Each group tries to keep a feather in the air just by blowing it. If a group’s feather touches the ground, that group is out. The winning group is the one that is still blowing a feather around when all the others have stopped. Use a stopwatch to track how long each group can keep the feather afloat.
